We originally started a blog called “small girl problems” and this is a play on that, we came up with it jokingly one night while drinking cake-flavored vodka. Accuracy was not our main concern.

We tag our posts “white girl problems” purely for traffic. We recognize that it’s a popular expression and take advantage of that by attracting people to a similar blog via tags. We are in no way insinuating that privilege is for whites only and are sorry for the confusion.

(On the other hand, “white girl problems” is almost always used in a mocking way. It’s actually bringing attention to class divisions and highlighting how shallow/naive some white girls can be. I don’t really know why someone would be offended that they’re not being made into the butt of the joke. But again, I apologize for any ruffled feathers and I agree that girls of all races can be selfish, dumb, and lazy.)
